I replaced the crank pulley bolt... during this process I discovered that the bolt had been installed at about 115lbs... after replacing the bolt and going for 90lbs on the torque wrench there is now very very very little wobble... scary part is that the car actually feels smoother too. Web10 Jul 2024 · Started the car and it runs great except I now have a wobble in the crank pulley. Bolt was torqued to 33 then 133 and looks straight. Pulley sits flush as far as I can tell on the key. Key looks ok I believe - attached a picture below. I've read that the rubber can separate and cause a wobble but the pulley looks to be in good shape.
Web21 Nov 2009 · The first thing to do is to try tightening the crank pulley bolt again. You do not need to loosen or remove any accessory drive belts to do that.
