The hikes are organized from south to north, beginning at the Minnesota-Wisconsin Border and ending at the 270 Degree Overlook which is near the Minnesota-Canada Border. WebAug 5, 2024 · We put in at Crosby Manitou State Park and backpacked to Silver Bay over 5 days. It was about 40 miles in total, including some of the spur trails we took. Four of our group of 5 had backpacked a section of the Appalachian Trail near Damascus, Virginia last year, and we all agreed that the Superior Hiking Trail was more challenging.
