WebAug 24, 2015 · The S4 tachometer is not reliable for 1st to 2nd shift, with stage 2 APR tune. My tach hits 8k RPM shifting from 1st to 2nd at WOT. I don't think it is actually hitting above redline, but the tach overshoots. Yup hit the rev limiter on 2-3 shift. Done it a few times before and was always 7200. Definitely went higher this time after the upgrade. WebJul 22, 2016 · First unplug the VSS, remove it, and push the plug out of the way. Now there are 9 Torx bolts to remove. The one on the far right is the most difficult because of the tranny mount bracket. They are all torqued pretty tight, I had to use a breaker bar on them.
