WebOct 22, 2016 · That is incorrect behaviour - it should not turn equioment off if it didn't turn it on originally. My other equipment with HDMI CEC behaves well enough. For now I'm doing the workaround where you leave the Apple TV on and manually change inputs. Then when the ATV sleeps automatically, it doesn't power off your stuff.
