Flutter tts not working
WebOct 30, 2024 · I am trying to build this simple text to speech feature using flutter_tts package but it doesn't speak no matter what I tried (official example, tutorials, etc.) I checked my Audio Output, it's set correctly. I have other MP3 sounds, they play just fine. I tried ^3.5.0 and ^3.5.3 versions, neither worked. Here is my code: class ColorsScreen ... WebDec 31, 2024 · Pausing on Android. Android TTS does not support the pause function natively, so we have implemented a work around. We utilize the native onRangeStart () method to determine the index of start when pause is invoked. We use that index to create a new text the next time speak is invoked. The voices returned by getvoices () are going to be the voices that are available to the TTS Engine that is in use by the device running your app.
