WebNov 12, 2004 · I've had my car six years (a Hyundai Coupe) and bought it new. Three years later and 75000 km's later, the clutch needed replacing - $800 dollars thank you very much. Now three years later again, but only 25000 km's travelled, I'm advised that it's due for replacement AGAIN - $800 AGAIN. Now surely a clutch should last more than 25000 km's.
